UK ISP Sky Broadband will today introduce a few new discounts on the monthly price of their fastest Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based Ultrafast and Gigafast broadband packages on Openreach’s national network, which shaves a few extra pounds off the previous pricing.
As usual, new customers can expect to receive the Sky Hub (SR203 / Hub 4.2) router, parental controls, nuisance call filtering and unlimited usage on an 18-month contract term. The package also comes attached to Sky’s Speed Guarantee, which will enable customers to claim money back if the connection performance drops below the guaranteed download rate.
We should point out that Sky also offers a social tariff called Sky Broadband Basics, which costs just £20 a month for 18 months for average speeds of 36Mbps (uploads of c.8.5Mbps). Otherwise, we expect the new pricing listed below to be available to order during the coming week (we’ve also added their FTTC and G.fast based plans).
