Budget Broadband ISP TalkTalk Discounts UK Full Fibre Packages

Internet provider TalkTalk has recently become the latest UK ISP to jump on the bandwagon of ‘Black Friday‘ offers, which among other things includes a sharp price reduction across their various Openreach based Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) packages. For example, their top 900Mbps tier is now just £42 per month (or £36 on Cityfibre).

As usual all of their home broadband packages include unlimited usage, a wireless router (i.e. the “Wi-Fi Hub” on slower plans and an “Amazon Eero 6” on 150Mbps+ packages), parental controls (HomeSafe) as standard, an 18-month minimum contract term and free installation.

The provider sells packages via various full fibre networks including Openreach, Cityfibre, CommunityFibre and FreedomFibre, although we’ve currently only got the pricing for their two largest network partners below. We should add that TalkTalk also sells packages using older broadband technologies on Openreach’s network, including ADSL, FTTC (VDSL2) and G.fast, but those are slowly becoming less attractive.

The discounted packages will also come bundled with a 12-month Amazon Prime subscription (worth £95). In addition, TalkTalk states that all of their new Fibre customers can also benefit from their “Great Connection Guarantee“, enabling them to leave within the first 30 days of their service going live if they’re not fully satisfied with their new fibre connection.
