New customers signing up to broadband ISPs TalkTalk or EE may like to know that both have separately launched some early January Sale style promotions on their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) packages, which add another discount to some monthly rentals and throws in the odd bonus.
In terms of TalkTalk, the big change seems to be on their Future Fibre plans, specifically their Fibre 150 (152Mbps) tier, which on the Openreach side of their FTTP network has been reduced from £32 to £29.95 per month on an 18-month term with free setup. On top of that, they’ve included a £100 Giftcloud Reward Card for spending in the shops (this also appears on other plans and goes up to £150 with their 944Mbps tier).
Meanwhile, EE has introduced some new discounts, although the most attractive change is the move to cut the price of their Openreach based Fibre Max 900Mbps package to £42 per month on a 24-month term with free setup. But take note that EE, not unlike BT, have an annoying habit of running all sorts of different prices for different regions, so some postcodes may get a different result on their checker.
