Network builder and UK ISP Zzoomm has today announced that the first customers in the Worcestershire (England) town and civil parish of Bewdley are now able to connect to their new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) infrastructure, although the same area is also being targetted by Openreach and FullFibre Limited.
The operator, which aspires to cover 1 million premises across 85 UK towns by the end of 2025 (mostly in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire, Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Wiltshire, West Yorkshire and Cheshire), states that they’ve invested £4m from their funding pot to build the new network in Bewdley and aim to cover around 5,000 properties in the area.
Customers who take the residential service typically pay from £29.95 per month for an unlimited 150Mbps (symmetric speed) package on a 12-month term with an included router, which goes up to just £64.95 if you want their top 2Gbps tier (or £39.95 for 900Mbps+). Most of their packages also discount the price for the first 3 months of service.

Good news, thanks for posting this.
Anyone been able to sign up for Zzoomm yet in Bewdley? Or seen their engineers working in your street?
I’m just wondering if any homes have been cabled up yet…
