UK ISP Quickline, which is building a gigabit speed full fibre (FTTP) broadband infrastructure to 96 rural locations (55,000 premises) across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire (England), has been awarded Safe Contractor accreditation in recognition of their efforts to ensure a high level of health and safety protections for their contractors.
The certification was awarded following an in-depth audit of all their existing safety systems, which is said to have demonstrated the operator’s health and safety competency to new as well as existing clients.
Stephen Wilkinson, Quickline’s Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) and BCM, said: “Being Safe Contractor Accredited gives peace of mind that we are a safe company to work with and confirms that health and safety is a priority for us as a business. It also recognises our commitment to sustainable and ethical practices and work compliantly with all current regulations.”
