Network builder and UK broadband ISP Vorboss, which is investing £300m to deploy their 100Gbps full fibre network – dedicated to business – across central London (they’ve already built over 500km of fibre since 2020), has launched a big discount on their 10Gbps tier for start-ups, schools, NGOs and SMEs etc.
Just to recap. Back in 2022 the operator made a commitment to “cover all commercial buildings” in Central London with their new network (here), which they said would aim to deliver data / broadband speeds of 10Gbps as the new minimum standard, with the dizzy heights of 100Gbps also being available for those with much bigger needs.
The 100Gbps enterprise fibre tier typically costs from £2,999 +vat per month (that’s very good value for a business line like this), while their 10Gbps tier costs £650 +vat per month. Once again, these are dedicated and Service Level Agreement (SLA) backed business lines, which should not be confused with contended consumer broadband products.

However, Vorboss has today expressed their desire to help foster smaller businesses and organisations in Central London, which they’re doing by offering a £300 monthly discount on their usual 10Gbps price – dropping it to just £350 +vat per month.
Tim Creswick, CEO at Vorboss, said:
“I know from experience that start-ups and SMEs face plenty of challenges, especially in tough economic times. Connectivity shouldn’t be one of them.
Providing a high-quality internet connection to businesses, as well as schools and NGOs, helps create a more balanced knowledge economy. It enables them to focus on productivity and growth rather than on bandwidth limitations.
These are the educational systems and commercial markets of the future. By empowering them to scale and grow, with connectivity at an unrivalled price, we are investing in everyone’s future.”
In order to qualify for the discount, a business should have fewer than 20 employees and a maximum turnover of £10 million a year, or be a non-profit or school. Details here.
Ouch that’s a game changer in London
