Alternative network builder and ISP Ogi, which is backed by Infracapital and working to deploy a multi-Gigabit capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network across South Wales, has launched their own Black Friday promotion that cuts 50% off the price of their home broadband packages.
The operator has so far covered a total of 60,000 premises with their new full fibre network – most of them residential – in Wales up to July 2023 (up from 47,500 in March 2023) and they’ve also added 6,000 customers “in less than a year” (here). But the new discounts should help to boost take-up by giving new customers up to £720 off the standard retail price, with no upfront installation costs.
The deal will run for 16 days from today until Tuesday 28th November, before prices revert to Ogi’s standard £30, £40 and £60 per month pre-sale tariff from 29th November 2023. Ogi’s Chief Revenue Officer, Sally-Anne Skinner, said: “Not only will households be saving on their broadband utility costs; but fast, reliable broadband can also drive down other household costs too.“
