Challenger broadband provider Home Unity has today announced that they’re expanding their reach across the North West and West Midlands by onboarding with Freedom Fibre’s alternative full fibre (FTTP) network, which is itself in the process of merging with Truespeed (here) in order to cover a total combined footprint of 412,000 premises ‘Ready for Service’.
The move forms part of Home Unity’s wider strategy to offer customers access to broadband services across multiple UK fibre networks, which already includes Openreach, CityFibre and OFNL – giving customers access to the best available infrastructure depending on where they live.
Customers joining through the Freedom Fibre network will also receive the “same Home Unity experience, including clear guidance, flexible options, and support from real UK-based people, available across phone, WhatsApp, email and SMS“.

Jonathan Tree, CEO at Home Unity, told ISPreview:
“We’re excited to launch Freedom Fibre broadband through Home Unity and bring our service-led approach to more homes across the North West and West Midlands. Freedom Fibre is building a strong full fibre network, and we’re proud to pair that infrastructure with the clarity, flexibility and support that customers tell us they value most.”
Residential packages on the network start at £30 per month for symmetric speeds of 150Mbps and that goes up to just £39 for speeds of 1000Mbps. Customers can expect to receive unlimited usage, UK-based support and a choice of 12, 18 or 24-month contract lengths.
