Revenues from Trooli’s UK Full Fibre Broadband Climb to £11.82m as Losses Bite

Alternative network operator and gigabit broadband ISP Trooli, which has deployed their full fibre (FTTP) network to cover 480,000 premises across parts of England and some of Scotland, have this week reported their annual results to the end of 2025 and revealed that total turnover increased 27% to £11.82m (2024: £9.28m). But losses took a big bite.

SpeedOfMe Ranks UK 14th Fastest in World for Broadband Speeds in H1 2026 UPDATE

Internet speed testing organisation SpeedOf.Me has published their H1 2026 Data report for the first half of the year, which among other things reveals that the United Kingdom ranked a respectable 14th out of 119 countries with an average (median) download speed of 82.8Mbps. Data for upload speeds and latency is also included.

Broadband provider MTH Networks has today confirmed that they’ve gone live on Trooli’s alternative full fibre (FTTP) network, which covers premises across the South East, South West and East Anglia Regions of England and a small part of Scotland.

ISP Freeola Discount UK Trooli and Freedom Fibre Based Broadband Packages

Internet and web hosting provider Freeola has introduced a special offer on their 12-month minimum term contracts for customers joining in areas covered by Freedom Fibre (FreedomTruespeed Group) or Trooli’s full fibre broadband networks, which discounts the price by between £8 and £10 per month.

Wholesale networking provider PlatformX Communications (formerly TalkTalk Wholesale) has today announced that they’ve begun making residential full fibre broadband (FTTP) services available via Trooli’s alternative UK network to partner ISPs, which follows the signing of a new wholesale partnership back in March 2025 (here).

Housing Developer Hampers Ferndown Homes from Getting Gigabit Broadband

A small group of homes in the East Dorset (England) town of Ferndown have effectively been denied access to a new gigabit broadband network because a local housing association, which owns a crucial piece of land, are only willing to grant Virgin Media’s (nexfibre) engineers a wayleave (legal access agreement) for an individual property; not the wider area.

Network operator and ISP Trooli (Call Flow) has confirmed to ISPreview that a small number of their customers are at risk of disconnection, which will occur when they shut one of their old hybrid wireless and fibre optic broadband networks in rural Hampshire (England).
