Broadband ISP BT Trial TNT Sports Service Ahead of UK Rebrand
Some customers of BT’s consumer products are being invited to trial TNT Sport ahead of the big rebranding under a new joint venture with Warner Bros. Discovery, which is currently scheduled to take place from 18th July. TNT Sports is the new name for BTSport – offering exclusive live TV sport (Premier League, UEFA Leagues etc.).
According to the invite for BT’s new ‘TNT Sport Rebrand Trial‘, the provider is seeking to trial the service with customers who do not currently have BTSport on their consumer account or currently have SKY TV without BTSport. “Aside from helping us iron out any bugs, we’ll obviously be covering the cost of the BT Sport package for the duration of the trial,” said the ISP.
The trial is due to start in mid-June and the timings are very tight, due to the imminent launch (ore relaunch) of the service, so it’s going to be a fairly short run.

They need a trial for a new logo? What?
It’s not just a logo, it’s testing new order journeys as they separate out the old product which they owned from the new one.
Worth thinking a bit differently now and remembering that BT (EE) Consumer will effectively have a wholesale agreement with the new joint venture company.

He is only asking and if he can get something for free, even if it is only a trial, why not?
First, I don’t follow football, I have no interest in it whatsoever. But i can understand why people try to watch their football via some streaming service, when you have matches split up over different services and both services charge stupid prices.
I like watching Formula 1, granted not as much as i used to as once again it is getting boring, anyway I will not pay sky the silly prices to watch it, so I do get it from some streaming service, so I have to watch it after the race, but i am not that bothered.
If it was at a decent price and I would pay for it, I would still have to watch it after the race as I can’t watch live T.V legally.

@Tony, not really, what I was trying to get over is that I don’t blame people for finding a way to watch football from other means, since they would have to pay two different companies to watch all matches they want to watch and sky-high prices.

The thing BT sports was good for other than its football, was its American Football content. If TNT up’s the American Football numbers – or shows all the games in 2160p. I might subscribe – as long as its no more than £15 a month for it.
Don’t they already charge more than £30?
Can’t see it being that cheap, I have got a really good deal for BT sport app access as a BT customer and pay around £15 now.
TNT is the future.
