Another day, another launch of a new virtual mobile provider, but this time it’s Everton Football Club joining the fray with a SIM-only service via Everton Mobile. The service offers three flexible mobile plans alongside some exclusive opportunities to “get closer to the Club“.
The three mobile plans start from £15 per month – Essential, Plus and Ultimate, which combine UK calls, texts and a data allowance (mobile broadband) with the chance to win a range of exclusive Everton prizes and experiences. Customers can also keep their existing handset and retain their current mobile number when switching to Everton Mobile, as is normal.
Supporters choosing the Ultimate plan can also take advantage of a special launch offer, with eligible customers receiving a complimentary Forever Blue+ Membership for the 2027/28 season (provided you join before 11:59pm on Sunday 25th Oct 2026). The Membership is non-transferable and must be used by the named Everton Mobile customer.

Supporters who are already a Season Ticket Member for the 2027/28 season will instead receive an upgrade to Season Ticket+. However, it should be noted that while Everton Essential and Everton Plus are both available on 30-day rolling agreements (customers can cancel at any time), the top Everton Ultimate plan is only available on a 24-month agreement.
Summary of Everton Mobile’s plans
Everton Essential – £15 per month
Includes unlimited UK minutes and texts, 25GB of UK data and chances to win stadium tours.Everton Plus – £20 per month
Includes unlimited UK data, minutes and texts, plus chances to win signed shirts and stadium tours.Everton Ultimate – £25 per month
Includes unlimited UK data, minutes and texts, plus 35GB of EU roaming data. Ultimate customers will also have opportunities to win Everton Mobile’s biggest prizes and experiences for both the women’s and men’s team. This includes match tickets, Premium Experiences, stadium tours, signed shirts and exclusive calls with Everton players throughout the season.
At the time of writing the website for Everton Mobile wasn’t yet online (it should go live momentarily), so we haven’t yet been able to verify all of the details. For example, the announcement also mentions that the service will work over either the O2 or Vodafone networks, which is unusual for a normal mobile service and we’re curious about how they’re handling that. The announcement is similarly unclear on whether this is eSIM only. But we have asked for further details and will report back.
Aaron Duckmanton, Everton’s Chief Revenue Officer, said:
“The thinking behind Everton Mobile was simple: this is a service all supporters have a need for so how can we give them more value from it as Evertonians?
We have worked to create plans that are straightforward, flexible and competitively priced, with access to the O2 or Vodafone networks, while also offering supporters something their usual mobile provider can’t – opportunities and experiences that bring them closer to their Club.
From signed shirts and stadium tours to match tickets, Premium experiences and opportunities with our players, we want there to be genuine Everton value built into the service.
And for supporters choosing the Ultimate plan, the additional Forever Blue+ or Season Ticket+ offer makes the launch proposition even stronger.”
So far as we can recall, this is the first time we’ve seen a major UK football club launching a virtual mobile service, although we doubt the other FCs will be too bitter about the idea and may even follow suit in the near future.

Everton FC has informed us that the service is all eSIM and customers will be able to choose whether they utilise O2 or Vodafone’s network during sign-up.

As a Liverpool fan I’ll take a pass on that one.
I wonder if the network name will say “Everton” or “O2/Vodafone” on the status bar? I guess if you’re an Everton fan it’s good and unique like.
Giving customers a choice between O2 and Vodafone is an _unusual_ feature, especially given the pricing seems to be identical. Any word as to what wholesaler they’re using for this arrangement?
Sport Telecoms Ltd is a UK-based telecommunications provider and MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) enabler that specializes in branded mobile services for sports clubs and fan communities.
Headquartered in Belfast (incorporated in late 2025), the company operates on a “Sport MVNO” business model.
It’s not unlimited it has a FUP
O2 network: Standard fair usage threshold is 650GB per calendar month (and no more than 12 simultaneously tethered devices).
Vodafone network: Standard fair usage threshold is 600GB per calendar month.
There is some room for football clubs to innovate in this space, such as arranging free roaming for a couple of days each side of any European away fixtures (yes I understand this doesn’t apply to Everton) and pre-season tours. Otherwise you’re charging quite a lot more than the common MVNOs for nothing more than being entered into prize draws.
It also goes without saying that whatever provider you pick should also be one you work with to ensure excellent coverage at your home stadium.
Gonna get Binley Mega Chippy mobile next.
” plus 35GB of EU roaming data. ”
I don’t see Everton Fans needing that anytime soon
I wonder if they’ve at least picked the provider who has the most capacity deployed in their stadium?
