Broadband provider ADSL24 has introduced a series of new “Fibre” superfast broadband (FTTC) packages, which come with greater usage allowance flexibility and faster internet download speeds of up to 80Mbps (previously 40Mbps).
Furthermore the ISP has, like other providers before it, slashed the price of its setup fee to £36 inc. VAT for new activations or migrations, which falls to just £26 if you are switching from an existing FTTC service with another provider (this applies until the end of July when it will return back to £99 inc VAT).
It should be noted that peak usage indicates usage counted between 8am-8pm on weekdays. At all other times (i.e. 8pm-8am weekdays and all weekend) usage is unlimited.
An ADSL24 Spokesperson said:
“After successful trials with Openreach we are delighted to announce the highly anticipated launch of our new up to 80 Mb download and 20 Mb upload Fibre Broadband service.
Not only do the new packages offer faster speeds, but we are also providing an additional 4 hours of unlimited off-peak usage compared to our previous Fibre packages – so customers can download more without it counting towards their monthly limit. We believe that the new packages, which offer usage options ranging from 15 GB to a massive 500 GB will cater for any household or business requirements.
Existing customers can upgrade to the new 80/20 service without their 12 month contract being re-started unlike most other providers.”
Each package comes with a 12 month contract, Static IP address and 250MB of web/email service.
