Internet and phone provider Direct Save Telecom (DST) has today announced that it will create 120 new jobs over the next 12 months, which is apparently possible as a “direct result” of their latest £2.49 per month broadband and free calls bundle (plus £12.85 line rental).
The package, which originally launched in May 2012, has allegedly helped the ISP to build up its customer base and expand to more than double in size. The new jobs will be full-time permanent positions based at the providers business centre for customer care, administration and sales in Watford.

Stavros Tsolakis, CEO of Direct Save Telecom, said:
“We are pleased to announce our plans to take on a minimum of 120 new members of staff in the next 12 months. Our footprint in the UK’s home phone and broadband sector is all about achieving the most robust and sustainable operating model for the long-term and offering customers the best deals available.
Despite the general economic environment remaining challenging, our business has expanded significantly over the past 12 months and this increased workforce will help build further market share.
It’s all very well winning new business, but you have to have a sustainable business model to retain new and existing customers. We are committed to providing exceptional customer care and support and the additional staff will be trained to meet our exacting business standards.”
The Conservative MP for Watford, Richard Harrington, praised the development for helping to create “local job opportunities that are vital to both local and national recovery and the British economy as a whole.“
