Sky Broadband (BSkyB) has launched a new Christmas promotion that offers 6 months free unlimited broadband and free weekend calls to both new customers and existing Sky TV subscribers, after which the price will return to just £10 a month (£7.50 with Sky TV).
As usual a 12 month contract period applies to the package and customers will still have to pay Sky Line Rental (£14.50 a month). Sadly the deal only applies to Sky’s standard broadband and not it’s superfast Sky Fibre Unlimited (FTTC) service, which offers download speeds of up to 38Mbps from £20 a month. But take note that the fibre service is currently running at half price for the first 3 months (i.e. £10 a month).
