Virgin Media has announced that a further eleven London underground tube stations (total 103) can now access its public wireless internet (wifi) service, which is FREE to existing Vodafone, EE, T-Mobile, Orange UK and of course Virgin broadband customers.
The service, which had previously been offered FREE to everybody, aims to connect a total of 120 stations by the end of March 2013. Sadly everybody else will need to pay for daily (£2), weekly (£5) or monthly (£15) passes, although the general wi-fi information portal will continue to keep all passengers up-to-date with TfL travel information and local news for free.
