“The landlords we’re working with all specialise in offering students the type of accommodation that will meet their lifestyle needs, and they’ve taken this concept a huge step further by fitting their properties with our Lightstream service.
We’re all living super-connected lives, and this is especially true of young people, who class broadband as an essential service along with power and water. The growing popularity of services like iPlayer.
These forward-thinking businesses have put themselves a step ahead of the market by anticipating and meeting this growing need. As more properties are equipped with superfast broadband, we have the potential to make Hull an even more attractive destination for students from across the UK and overseas.”
It’s worth pointing out that KC already has a special range of Lightstream Packages for Students, which offers their top 100Mbps (FTTH) service with phone line rental from a sliding price of just £6.25 per month per person (plus £23.75 setup fee each) when 8 students are sharing the accommodation; this can rise to a maximum of £25 each for 2 students sharing (plus £95 setup fee each). Overall the total monthly price always comes back to £50 per property and £190 setup.
The above package includes totally unlimited downloads, unlimited anytime calls, 180 minutes of mobile calls, a free router and a 6 month contract.
