Customers of popular ISP Zen Internet, specifically those on the standard broadband (ADSL2+) packages, will be pleased to learn that their monthly data usage allowances are about to receive a significant boost and all at no extra cost. Happy Christmas.
According to Thinkbroadband, a newsletter published by the provider reveals that all of Zen’s ADSL2+ products will soon be seeing their data usage allowances more than doubled. The change itself will become effective from 1st December 2013.
Zen’s New Usage Allowances (inc. VAT Prices)
Zen Lite – £18.37 per month (Current: 20GB / New: 50GB)
Zen Active – £25.52 per month (Current: 100GB / New: 200GB)
Zen Pro – £35.74 per month (Current: 200GB / New: 500GB)
Zen Office – £54 per month (Current: 400GB / New: 1000GB)
Zen Office Max – £94.80 per month (Current: 1000GB / New: UNLIMITED)
The new enhancements are most likely linked to the on-going improvements that Zen have been making as part of their wider £3.5 million core infrastructure investment (here), which recently resulted in the launch of several new and quite affordably priced “Truly Unlimited” superfast broadband (FTTC) products (here).
