Communications provider EE will today remove the £50 connection fee from their superfast “Unlimited Fibre Broadband” (FTTC) packages, which offer speeds of up to 76Mbps and currently also benefit from a 3 months half price discount.
The move comes shortly after they raised their broadband prices (here), which might have been designed to prepare for the free connection offer. However the service is only really attractive if you’re also an existing EE, T-Mobile or Orange UK customer and thus benefit from a £10 per month discount (discount prices reflected below).
