UK ISP TalkTalk Reintroduces 12 Months FREE Unlimited Broadband Deal

The revolving door of ISP discounts continues today as TalkTalk have reintroduced their 12 months free unlimited Simply Broadband deal (normal price of £3.50 per month), which must also be taken alongside their phone line rental from £16.70 a month or the equivalent of only £15.03 a month when pre-paid. A £75 Love2shop voucher is included.

It’s worth pointing out that TalkTalk’s line rental, despite being virtually the same price as many of their competitors, does not come with any free UK calling allowances (except between other TalkTalk customers). Otherwise new subscribers can expect to receive the following.

SimplyBroadband Package
* Download speeds of up to 17Mbps
* Totally Unlimited Usage
* Standard Call Charges (PAYG)
* Included Calls Between TalkTalk Customers
* Included Wireless Router
* Included HomeSafe Security and Parental Controls
* Talk2Go App
* Free Connection or £30/£50 welcome credit for new line installations
* 18 Month Contract

PRICE: £0 for the first 12 months (£3.50 thereafter) + Line Rental

As usual Anytime calls can also be added for an extra £7.50 per month (includes unlimited calls to UK landlines and mobiles), not to mention their various other calling, mobile and TV (IPTV) package add-ons (boosts). The new offer is anticipated to remain live until 19th March 2015.

    I thought all promotions like this also had to be offered to existing customers if they were willing to re-contract?

    If you call retentions in Preston, I’m sure they will offer you a similar deal providing you have 6 months or less on your contract remaining.

    If not I know staff who work there who would be more than willing to help.

      I agree – The problem is actually getting through to someone in the Preston call centre, rather than the one in Bangalore.

    Should be able to follow the options to say you wish to leave TalkTalk and this should get you through
