BT has today reintroduced their earlier summer discounts, which means that unlimited standard (up to 17Mbps) and superfast (up to 38Mbps BTInfinity) broadband packages have been cut to just £5 and £10 per month respectively. Sainsbury’s shopping vouchers worth up to £125 have also been added.

New customers will of course also need to take out BT’s Phone Line Rental, which now costs either £17.99 per month as standard or £194.28 when pre-paid for a full year in advance (equivalent of £16.19 per month). But you also need to be aware that the price of their unlimited broadband discounts, after the first 12 month contract is over, will rise significantly (see below).

Unlimited Broadband + Free Weekend Calls
* Download speeds of up to 17Mbps
* Included HomeHub Router (£6.95 Delivery)
* Totally Unlimited Usage Allowance
* BT Sport Lite
* 5GB Online Cloud Storage
* SmartTalk (voice calls over wifi/3g/4g)
* Unlimited BTWiFi Hotspots
* Parental Controls (Network Level Filter and Anti-Virus etc.)
* NetProtect Plus (enhanced security)
* Included £75 Sainsbury’s Voucher

PRICE: £5 per month for 12 months (£18 thereafter) + line rental

Unlimited Infinity 1 + Free Weekend Calls
* Download speeds of up to 38Mbps (9.5Mbps uploads)
* Included HomeHub 5 Router (£6.95 Delivery)
* Totally Unlimited Usage Allowance
* BT Sport Lite
* 50GB Online Cloud Storage
* SmartTalk (voice calls over wifi/3g/4g)
* Unlimited BTWiFi Hotspots
* Parental Controls (Network Level Filter and Anti-Virus etc.)
* NetProtect Plus (enhanced security)
* Included £125 Sainsbury’s Voucher
* £35 Activation Fee

PRICE: £10 per month for 12 months (£23 thereafter) + line rental

NOTE: Customers who decide they want to leave within the first year of their contract will have to stump up to £55 towards the cost of your HomeHub router (standard broadband) and this rises to £65 on their BTInfinity package. Otherwise the new offer is only available for the next week and then it will probably change again.

    Bit of a scam with the routers I would be shocked if BT even pay them much for them.
