Low cost UK ISP PlusNet has begun offering their ‘up to’ 38Mbps capable “Unlimited Fibre” (FTTC) broadband package free for the first 6 months of service (£14.99 per month thereafter).
The new promotion, which is set to run until 24th November 2015, also requires new customers to take out both an 18 month contract and PlusNet’s Phone Line Rental product, which costs from either £16.99 per month or the monthly equivalent of £15.49 when pre-paid for one year in advance.

As usual we need to point out that PlusNet adopts a split pricing model, which means that those in more remote rural parts of the United Kingdom (last 10% of the country) tend to pay more than those in the more competitive “low cost areas“. So if you happen to fall into this unfortunate category then the non-offer package price rises from £14.99 to £22.49 per month.
Subscribers can also add free UK evening and weekend calls to the package for an extra +£3 per month, which rises to +£6 if you want Anytime calls or +£7.50 for Anytime calls with 300 minutes to PlusNet’s choice of the top 35 international destinations.
