BT Start “Fabulous Fortnight” SALE of Unlimited Broadband and Phone

UK ISP BT has launched what they’re calling the “Fabulous Fortnight” sale, which essentially combines a price cut of their unlimited broadband and phone packages with the offer of an included Reward Card (Mastercard) worth £50 or £100 (usually the provider prefers to rotate these aspects separately).

The new promotion will last for two weeks and it’s also noted that BT’s top Ultra-HD (4K) supporting “Total Entertainment” Pay TV add-on has been reduced from +£18 to +£13 per month (the one-off installation fee has similarly dropped from £44 to £20).

As usual the promotion still requires customers to pay standard BT’s Standard Line Rental of £18.99 inc. VAT per month on top of the broadband fee, but this can be slashed to the monthly equivalent of £17.09 when pre-paying for one year in advance via Line Rental Saver (total £205.08).

NOTE: We use total prices below, which combines the cost of line rental saver (monthly equivalent) and broadband. The price in brackets is the post-discount cost, which will apply if you stay with BT after the first 12 month offer has ended. But be warned, customers who cancel their service within the first 12 month contract period will also have to pay back the cost of BT’s router, which is £55 for the HomeHub 4 and £65 for the SmartHub.

I wonder if these are just for new customers, or can I get such a deal if I re-contract ?

I’d stay away from them, just look at this latest review on this website:
