Mobile and internet provider EE has today launched a second ‘up to’ 76Mbps (FTTC / VDSL2) capable home broadband package called ‘Fibre Max‘, which includes anytime UK + international calls (usually +£10 extra) and a number of additional calling features into the bundle.
Subscribers to these “Fibre” packages normally receive unlimited usage, an included wireless router (BrightBox 2), line rental, free setup (usually £35), UK and Ireland based customer support, a year’s free Norton Security Premium software and a 5GB mobile data boost (if you’re an EE pay monthly mobile customer). An extra +£8 per month will also get you access to the EE TV service.
At present new customers can get all of that and speeds of ‘up to’ 76Mbps via EE’s “Fibre Plus Broadband” package that costs £33 per month for the first 18 months of service (£40 thereafter). By comparison the new “Fibre Max” package adds the ‘Anytime UK and International calls’ add-on and their ‘Choose Call Plus’ add-on into the mix for a total price of £45 per month for the first 18 months (£52.50 thereafter).

As a launch offer new customers who sign-up for Fibre Max by 20th November will also receive a free Google Home worth £129 (RRP).
