Broadband ISP Vorboss, which has previously hinted at plans to bring their own gigabit FTTP network to 250,000 premises in large UK urban areas by 2022 (here), has moved to “accelerate the expansion” of their fibre network across London with a new data centre deal.
In short, Vorboss has secured “six times more space” inside the London base of European data centre provider Interxion (A Digital Realty Company). “We currently have links to 26 data centres covering the UK and Europe,” explains CEO, Timothy Creswick. “Expanding our footprint at [Interxion] proved critical to scale the number of fibre connections available and has allowed us to be more readily available to our growing list of clients.”
The provider added that they are currently preparing the business for a “surge in fibre demand,” although we’ve yet to see a concrete rollout plan. Otherwise most of their services seem to be targeted more towards businesses and large buildings (office and apartment blocks etc.).

Andrew Fray, UK Managing Director at Interxion, said:
“Our collaboration with Vorboss is exciting as they scale up in London, particularly under current circumstances. We are seeing companies accelerate in terms of digital transformation and reconfiguring their legacy systems or establishing new, efficient IT networks. Vorboss is leading the way in providing new fibre in London and is becoming an important player in the fabric of the connected city.”
End.
They should probably fix their routing issues and common outages before they think about expanding lol
