A new ISP called No One, which is a residential focused off-shoot of business provider Trunk Networks (they’re also behind Leetline), has now officially launched on CityFibre’s new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network in the West Sussex seaside town of Worthing. Many more locations will soon follow.
CityFibre, which is busy investing £4bn to deploy their new gigabit broadband network out to 8 million UK premises over the next five years (here), is already being supported by various ISPs (e.g. Vodafone (Gigafast Broadband), TalkTalk, Zen Internet etc.), but at present they aren’t all live or available in every one of the new network’s locations.. yet.
Similarly, No One has just recently gone live in Worthing, although Trunk Networks has informed us that they are also “committed” to going live in Eastbourne and Crawley during September 2021, followed by Horsham, Brighton & Hove, Chichester & Arun in 2022.

Customers on this network can expect to pay from £29.99 inc. VAT per month for their unlimited 100Mbps (symmetric speed) package on a 24-month term (more expensive 12-month terms are also available) and that rises to £38.99 per month for their top 900Mbps package. You’ll also receive a free router (Fritz 7530) and installation.
They will give you a £30 bill credit if you choose to use your own router. Perhaps Zen could learn from them…
This should be standard across the board, to reduce e-waste if nothing else.
No One has gone live in Worthing – ha ha!
Reminds me of Mick Inkpen’s book for small children “Baggy Brown”, which features a bear called No One (No. 1)
Terrible name for an ISP
Agree. Perhaps ‘Better Connected’ was already taken. You can imagine the comments when there are technical issues…. Who are you connected to? No one!
Came here to comment this
The name makes you think if you ever contact their customer service you will have a long wait. But £39 for 900mbs and £30 rebate if you use your own router is a hell of a good deal.
Is there anyone else in Edinburgh offering Cityfibre or just Vodafone?
Just Vodafone at the moment as far as I’m aware. The network is still fairly limited in availability in the city, however CityFibre are ramping up their build out. You can see where they are laying cables at https://one.network
I suspect once the network has much larger coverage of the city, other providers will come on board. There would be no point in the likes of Zen and TalkTalk advertising across the city if only a few areas can sign up to their service, it would likely lead to bad publicity and reputation, while also making those particular customers less likely to choose them as a provider in the future.
You can see what areas have access to CityFibre here: https://labs.thinkbroadband.com/local/broadband-map#11/55.8163/-3.1067/gigafast/community/
The worse ISP’s name!
Good provider, terrible name!
>”Hey Alex, who are you with for your internet?”
>”No one”
Why are Cityfibre building in Horsham, there are already 3 FTTP providers building there
Presumably because Cityfibre don’t see the others as a threat.
CityFibre has big names on board (Vodafone, Talktalk, Zen and others) who have marketing clout and can migrate existing customers to the CF network.
As for Openreach, Cityfibre can undercut them on price, because OFCOM has set a floor price for Openreach FTTP.
It will be tough for the likes of Hey!Broadband to compete, and whoever the other one is.
No city fibre in my half of worthing right now. No One just offers openreach packages to me.
The blown ducts are in and the mounts for whatever boxes they are using are on the top of the poles, some nice new city fibre chamber covers at the end of the street. Sad lack of actual fibre still though and has been for the last 18 months.
Hi,
Could you email contact@noone.co.uk with your address and we can let you know where you are on the roll out.
