Shropshire-based UK ISP Aquiss has introduced a new broadband package into their range, which is based off Openreach’s 115Mbps (20Mbps upload) speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) tier. But as part of a launch offer, they’ve discounted this to just £19 per month for the first 8 months of service (£38 thereafter).
Nearly all of their FTTP packages come with unlimited download allowances, Standard Care, Static IPv4 and IPv6 (/56) addresses as standard, a 12-month contract term and free activation / installation. However, the new ‘Family Unlimited Pure Fibre 115‘ package attaches a longer 24-month term, and offers average advertised download speeds of 100Mbps and uploads of 17Mbps.
We should point out that Aquiss, unlike larger ISPs, doesn’t bundle a wireless router in with their service. But you can always use an existing router or buy a new third-party one online. Some people prefer to use their own kit, as opposed to the more limited and restrictive devices being bundled by bigger ISPs.
All they need now is the 55/10 and the 220/30 package and they have them all.
