Telecoms giant BT will today launch their official Black Friday sale, which looks set to offer the first 3 months of service completely free “across all our broadband packages.” On top of that, all of their TV and Sport packages will be half price for the first 3 months, which is in addition to the 3 months free broadband offer.
As usual new customers can expect to receive an included wireless router, a 24-month contract term, unlimited data usage, Cloud storage (online backup), Virus Protect, Parental Controls, Call Protect (stops nuisance calls) when bundled with phone, the Stay Fast Guarantee (get the speeds they promise or £20 back) and free access to BT’s national network of public Wi-Fi hotspots.
Otherwise, their monthly package prices appear to be largely unchanged from last week.
Shame it wasn’t 12 months free.
Theyve got to still make money…
Shame it isn’t months free…
Will they match/beat TalkTalk/Shell’s price though for FTTP 900?
Is this only for new customers? I went through online and at the end it said I can’t have it as I am an existing customer, then offered me several much more expensive packages…
If this is the case, I’ll be very disappointed in their price promise.
So the day before it was 49.99 for 24 months, now it’s free for 3 months then 54.99 thereafter! I know which deal I would prefer this is no black Friday deal for anyone.
