New customers of UK ISP and mobile operator EE, specifically those taking out one of their top two Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based “Fibre Max” (500Mbps to 900Mbps) broadband plans, may be pleased to learn that they can now receive up to 12 months’ Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as well as unlimited mobile gaming data.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate typically gives people access to Microsoft’s huge library of games (inc. cloud gaming), online multiplayer, as well as exclusive member discounts and various in-game perks or partner offers. The pass was originally designed for use alongside their Xbox video game console(s), but these days you can also use it on PC and mobile devices too (provided you have a game controller).

NOTE: EE’s FTTP packages are only available via Openreach’s national network, which currently covers around 6 million UK premises.

As for the broadband packages, new customers will typically receive unlimited usage, an included wireless router, UK and Ireland based customer support, a 24-month contract term and free setup (usually £25). In addition, existing EE Pay Monthly mobile customers also get a 20GB mobile data boost (5GB on their slower packages) and a 10% discount on their Full Fibre bill.

The New Xbox Game Pass Deals

➤ Fibre Max 900 – customers can receive 12 months’ Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and zero-rated gaming data worth £252.

➤ Fibre Max 500 – For those opting for Fibre Max 500, customers can receive 6 months’ Xbox Game Pass Unlimited and zero-rated gaming data worth £126.

Obviously, the zero-rated gaming data is only applicable if you’re also taking one of EE’s Pay Monthly 4G / 5G Mobile plans. At the time of writing, this offer wasn’t yet live, but it is expected to begin later this morning.
