Full fibre builder and UK ISP Brsk has announced that their rollout of a new gigabit-capable and “open access” Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network is being extended to parts of the West Midlands, with the operator anticipating that their deployment in the region will cover approximately 250,000 homes and businesses.
The operator, which is already targeting parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire, first began their rollout – during early 2021 – in the village of Cottingley, which has since been followed by the towns of Keighley and Bingley, as well as Clayton, Allerton & Sandy Lane, Heaton & Daisy Hill, Burnley, Padiham, Bradford, Queensbury, Thornton, Accrington and many.. many more.
However, this month will see the independent Full Fibre provider start the rollout of their network to a 4th region, which will extend across around 250,000 premises in the West Midlands and South Birmingham area. Some of the first towns to benefit from this will be Dudley, Brierley Hill, Kingswinford, Halesowen, Cradley Heath Stourbridge, Selly Oak, Northfield and Rubery.

Brsk are letting households know if engineering works will affect their streets by letterbox drop, as well as engaging with the local community and councillors to inform residents about the project and the benefits it will bring to their area. As usual, the operator will run as much of their fibre via existing ducts and poles as possible in order to minimise disruption and speed up the deployment.
Giorgio Iovino, Brsk founder and CEO, said:
“I am delighted to announce the kick-off of our 4th region as we continue to ramp up our build. Our consistently increasing build rates and focus on scaling up our operations to support our growing network have given us the confidence to open up a new front in The West Midlands. We are delighted with the feedback we are receiving from customers about their experience with brsk so far and look forward to connecting even more homes to better broadband.”
Prices typically start from £25 per month for an unlimited 100Mbps symmetric speed package (including a free installation and router), which rises to £45 for their top 900Mbps package. In addition, there’s also a “guarantee” of “no price rises” during that term.
UPDATE 11th Aug 2022

Dudleyyyyyyy finally yes something that is not vermin
Yay, at last an alt net for this part if the Southern black country. Here’s hoping for the routes along the A458.
£25 a month? That is pretty good.
Haven’t even covered there initial scope and announced other areas I find it a bit stupid.
Ie Manchester announced well after Burnley and Accrington yet more progress done on the former than the latter areas.
Seems to be so much overbuild of fibre, I bet some of these streets look horrendous with all the pavement slicing etc.
Would be so much better if they all merged into one competitor against virgin and bt
Don’t know what’s happened but my address was “awaiting build” has now gone to “Not planned”. I’ve been stuck on sub 40mbps for ever.
