Mobile operator Superdrug Mobile, which is a virtual operator (MVNO) on Three UK’s national network, has just confirmed a continued price freeze across all of its plans. The operator says they’ve not raised their costs in over 4 years and are opting again to buck the current trend, which has seen some rivals hike prices by up to 17.3%.
In a brief statement, the operator said: “With millions of mobile network customers experiencing price hikes of up to 17.3%, Superdrug Mobile has confirmed a continued price freeze on all its plans, having not raised their costs in over four years. Customers on Superdrug Mobile’s network benefit from simple straightforward plans starting at £10pcm and as a SIM customer, keeping your existing number is as easy as sending a text. It is their unlimited plan at a rate of £20 per month that is the most popular and includes unlimited data, calls & texts with no data caps or speed restrictions.”
One downside though is that it doesn’t appear as if Superdrug Mobile has expanded their MVNO deal to include support for the latest 5G connectivity, which is something that most of the rest of the market has long since adopted.
