Mobile operator Sky Mobile, which harnesses O2’s Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) platform, appears to have become one of the first UK mobile providers to add Apple MacBook laptops to its range of devices with a bundled SIM, starting from just £22 a month for an Apple MacBook Air 13-Inch M1 (2020).
The launch covers all MacBook Air models, featuring the new MacBook Air 13” and the MacBook Air 15” editions, as well as four of the latest MacBook Pros – the MacBook Pro 13” with two different storage options, the MacBook Pro 14” and the MacBook Pro 16”.
The range of MacBook laptops come with a Sky Mobile SIM plan that, when paired with a dongle, enables customers to stay connected on the go. Data plans begin from 100MB, included for free, and go up to 75GB for £32. Existing Sky Mobile customers can roll any spare data from their Piggybank to their dongle’s SIM and also enjoy unlimited streaming of Sky’s TV content on the go.
