Customers looking to join Sky Mobile (Sky) will, from sometime later this morning, finally be able to take out a 4G and 5G capable mobile plan that includes “unlimited data” (mobile broadband). Previously, the biggest mobile plan you could get from Sky came with a 100GB monthly data allowance for £30 per month.
The new unlimited data plan, which includes all the usual features (e.g. unlimited calls / texts and the ability to change your plan whenever you like) and a commitment not to raise prices mid-contract, will cost £35 per month when purchased as a Pay Monthly SIM Only plan or £25 when you bundle it with a phone handset.
Sky Mobile is powered by a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement with O2 (Virgin Media).

Interesting, @Mark, does it have a fair use policy?
Massively over priced , even more so given O2 network, compared to other MVNO should be around £16 to £18 a month
Sky Mobile use o2’s network so I’d be very surprised if it didn’t have the same FUP as O2, which is 600GB and cannot tether more than 12 devices.
At the moment, they still seem to be using the same T&C’s as December 2023 for Sky Mobile, which is quite vague on this issue.
What rubbish. I’ll stick with Smarty.
So that is better in what way than the unlimited 4&5G for £20 a month from SUPERDRUG?
Don’t waste your money on Sky mobile, go with the one I have with SUPERDRUG that is unlimited 4&5G.
Sky £35 a month
SUPERDRUG £20 a month
You do the maths!!
Who is SUPERDRUG, under the hood?
They have the piggybank for data storage, not that it’d be needed given unlimited data.
Unlimited data on Lebara £22.50 so not a great deal from SKY
Superdrug are Three under the hood. I think superdrug is/was owned by CK Hutchinson (Three’s parent company)
if you think this is a terrible deal RWG are offering unlimited data for £45 a month, thats about triple the current market prices.
The best advice I can give is steer clear of the cowboys at RWG and the rip off merchants at SKY.
RWG are dreadful
@Acdeag
RWG are worse than dreadful, can’t even manage to provide incoming or outgoing calls.
What were the chumps at SKY Mobile smoking?
Sounds like they don’t want to sell it sim only and are only really wanting it for handset sales, where they are probably missing out
Three offers 4G / 5G broadband for £22 pcm for 24 months and RPI+3.9% hike after 12 months, or £24 pcm without duration with 12 month hike. Unlimited Data, no roaming, no calls.
So if all you want is wireless broadband, worth knowing..
Dreadful network. Even Sky staff hate it despite getting every tarrif half price.
Piggy bank is now useless for rewards.
Checking My MySky App, I’m able to get the unlimited data £40 on my SIM only contract, that’s then shown as discounted to £28 per month.
Although i’ll be sticking with my 3Gb a month discounted to £5.40, whilst I sit on nearly 500gb of piggybanked data (4 other sims on account).
