Rural focused UK ISP Gigaclear, which is working to build their 1Gbps full fibre (FTTP) network across remote parts of England, will today launch a “Bank Holiday Special” offer that discounts the price of their unlimited 400Mbps (symmetric speed) broadband service to just £20 for the first 18 months of service (£49 thereafter).

Last week we reported that Three UK had cut the standard charge on their 5G unlimited Three Home Broadband packages and also introduced the more expensive ‘option‘ of a 1-month minimum contract term. But it seems they were a bit premature, since the new monthly term has only now gone live.

Mobile operator Three UK has informed us that they’ve slightly lowered the standard charge on their 5G based unlimited Home Broadband packages from £21 to £20 per month on a 24-month term. But on the flip side those in 4G-only areas will now be paying the same price (earlier this year it was just £14).

UK ISP BT has updated their existing range of discounts, not least by boosting the value on some of their included reward vouchers (preloaded MasterCards) and also shaving an extra pound or two off the existing offer prices for their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) packages. Some FTTP plans also include a 1-month free speed boost.
