Computing magazine PC Pro has announced the winners of its annual PCPro Excellence Awards 2012, which saw Zen Internet win the Best ISP gong for a ninth time (overall satisfaction score of 93%). Meanwhile BE Broadband (83%) and PlusNet (83%) walked away as runners up. Sadly other ISPs didn’t do quite so well.
The awards, which are voted for by readers of the magazine, rated Zen Internet top in every category with 97% for customer support, 96% for reliability, 84% value for money, 89% for speed and 98% for recommending to a friend (i.e. an improvement in every category since last year).
Andrew Saunders, Zen’s Head of Product Management and Marketing, said:
“It’s fantastic to have won this award for an amazing nine years running. Our mission is to provide the best ISP service in the UK, so we delighted to have increased our scores from last year and would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support, especially those who took the time to vote for us.”
Unfortunately not everybody had such a good night, with bottom dwellers TalkTalk Business and sibling AOL UK suffering overall scores of just 53% and 52% respectively. Clearly some ISPs have a significantly steeper hill to climb than others.

That’s the 2011 awards, 2012 aren’t public yet.
Opps so it is sorry about that.
Well done, Zen. Again 😉
Zen = overpriced and heavily capped. How does that win awards?!?
Because quality always beats quantity.
