Rochdale-based ISP Zen Internet has launched a new special promotion for Christmas that offers its superfast broadband (FTTC) packages, which come with download speeds of up to 76Mbps (Megabits per second), alongside a free installation and free wireless router (TG582n).
As usual there is a small catch to Zen’s promotion, which comes in the form of a new 24 month contract (Zen’s “fibre” packages are usually accompanied by a 12 month contract). Otherwise the services start at £27.60 inc. VAT per month for the Fibre Lite deal (20GB usage and up to 38Mbps download speeds) and go up to £78 for their Fibre Office Plus service (1000GB usage and up to 76Mbps speeds).
The packages typically also come with free router delivery, unlimited uploads, 11 POP3 mailboxes, webmail, e-mail Anti-Virus protection, 2GB web space and UK based customer support at local call rates. The new promotion is available until 6th January 2013.
It’s worth pointing out that Zen Internet is often seen as one of the highest rated UK ISPs for quality, which is part of the reason why they tend to cost more than some of their larger competitors.
