The Internet Service Providers Association UK has officially launched the hunt for next year’s annual Internet industry awards, which is seeking nominations for a string of familiar categories (e.g. ‘Best Superfast Broadband’ and ‘Best Consumer Fixed Broadband’) and two new ones.
All entrants will need to register and then submit a written entry form for each category that will be scrutinised by the judges, which as usual comprise an “independent panel of industry experts“, alongside the results of any technical testing. Registrations are being taken until 24th January 2014.

The two new categories comprise, firstly, the Best Business Use of Cloud, which judges firms that use cloud technology to become more efficient, drive business and improve their company. The second new addition is for the Best Use of Digital, which is aimed at ISPs or technology providers that run the best digital media campaign and will be judged by a case study.
Nicholas Lansman, ISPA Secretary General, said:
“As ISPA approaches its twentieth year, 2014 will see the 16th annual ISPA awards and the new categories reflect the diversity of ISPA members and the strength of the UK industry. ISPA has been the voice of the internet industry since 1995 and we look forward to another competitive awards.”
The awards ceremony itself is usually held around mid-year in London, although at the time of writing the ISPA hasn’t yet confirmed a final date or venue for the event. The 2013 ceremony was held during July and the winners were revealed here.
