We’re no fans of the musical chairs approach to voucher discounts, which seem to change weekly, but BT has done an unusual new twist. New customers who join one of their BTInfinity (FTTC) “fibre broadband” packages will now also get a £125 Prepaid Visa Card, which reduces to £75 for standard broadband (ADSL) subscribers.
The offer only looks as if it will be available for the next 6 days until 13th May 2015, although it certainly makes for an interesting twist from the revolving door of Sainsbury’s focused discounts. But naturally there are a few caveats to the card.

Apparently customers must claim the card within the first 3 months of your broadband installation and the card must then be activated within 3 months of receipt, although it will eventually expire completely on 31st March 2016.. so make sure you use it.
But sadly the card cannot be used at CAT/pay@pump/car parking terminals, toll roads and bridges, automated train ticket machines, for subscriptions/automated periodic payments, to withdraw cash via cashback/ATM, gambling, any illegal goods/services or to pay off those pesky alien invaders who threatened to blow up your house unless you agree to be assimilated into the Borg collective (we might have made that last one up).
