Business focused ISP XLN Telecom has dropped the cost of their broadband and phone packages, with many now offering free broadband or reduced price FTTC “fibre broadband” for the first 6 months of service and a -£2.50 per month discount off the cost of their Phone Line Rental service.

As usual the bundles all require new customers to take XLN’s own Phone Line Rental service, which adds a reduced price of £12.95 per month to the total cost listed below. In addition, being a business solution means that all of these prices exclude VAT at 20% and the contracts are for 24 month terms.

The ISP has quite a few packages and so we’ve only opted to list some of the more comparative examples below.

Broadband and Phone Basix
* Unlimited broadband usage
* Download speeds of up to 17Mbps
* Free wireless router (£9.99 delivery charge) & setup
* Multiple email addresses
* Standard call rates (cheaper than BT)

PRICE: £FREE for the first 6 months (£6.50 thereafter) + line rental

Business Fibre & Phone 40 Basix
* Unlimited broadband usage
* Download speeds of up to 38Mbps
* Free wireless router (£9.99 delivery charge) & setup
* Multiple email addresses
* Standard call rates (cheaper than BT)
* Free Managed Install

PRICE: £10 per month for the first 6 months (£16.50 thereafter) + line rental

It’s also possible to take the broadband as a standalone service, although this does cost a fair bit more. Take note that subscribers in rural areas, which exist outside of XLN’s lower cost areas, may have to add several pounds extra to the cost of their service.
