Internet provider Pulse8 Broadband has reduced the standard monthly price of their unlimited superfast “fibre broadband” (FTTC) packages for homes, which has the unique selling point of a 1 month contract and does not apply any termination charges or minimum call costs.
New subscribers would have previously paid £38 inc. VAT per month for their ‘up to’ 38Mbps (10Mbps upload) package or £44 for their ‘up to’ 76Mbps (20Mbps upload) option, but both have now been reduced by several pounds.
However a one-off charge of £49.50 does still apply to upgrades or migrations (a small price to pay when you consider the short contract) and if you need a brand new line and fibre service installed from scratch then this would set you back £178.50. Sadly Pulse8 do not include a free router but they do provide several paid options for those who don’t have their own.
