Mobile operator and UK ISP Vodafone have launched a bunch of Black Friday offers this week, which among other things includes bundling in a ‘Google Nest Hub Max’ (usually c.£190) smart speaker device with their fixed line “superfast broadband” (FTTC) packages and discounting some of their mobile plans with Smartphones.
At present Vodafone’s FTTC based 35Mbps and 63Mbps (average speed) home broadband packages, which include phone line rental, an 18 month contract term, 6-month free trial of F-Secure SAFE, unlimited usage and a Gigafast wireless router, are being offered at £24 and £28 per month respectively for new customers (or discounted to £22 and £26 if you’re an existing Voda mobile customer).
Separately if you’re lucky enough to be covered by Vodafone’s new Gigafast Broadband products, which reflect a range of packages on Cityfibre’s new 1000Mbps capable “full fibre” (FTTH) network, then you should note that they’ve also slashed the price of their 500Mbps tier to just £28 per month. All of these discounts are available to order until 2nd December next month.
In terms of Vodafone Mobile there are too many Black Friday offers to list, although our readers may be most interested to know that all of their 18-month unlimited data (4G / 5G) plans are reduced by £3 a month. Apparently their Smartphone deals may go live at midnight tonight.
Black Friday sales have been pretty awful this year.
