Mobile operator EE (BT) appears to have launched some “early bird Christmas deals” on their Pay Month and Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) plans, among other things. For example, PAYG customers who purchase a 15GB Data Pack for £20 will also receive 35GB of extra data for the first 3 months (total of 50GB).
Meanwhile Pay Monthly SIM-Only customers can also enjoy a range of deals, including a 5G Ready SIM-Only plan with 100GB of data for £20 per month, or 200GB per month with a Smart benefit included for £25 per month (24-month contract). The operator is also offering various deals, such as giving away an LG Ultra 4K 43″ TV or Nintendo Switch with select Google Pixel or OPPO plans, but we generally don’t cover things like that.
24 month sim only contract is long.
Hey Craig! 24 month does seem a long contract for a SIM only plan.
O2 has the right idea, 12 & 18 mth is a better fit.
However, for people like myself who are happy with their MNO of many years [Mobile Net: Operator] 24 months is fine. Especially now after switching plans & having 6month half price.
The SIM only 5G 100GB contract has been around for a while, I switched to it back in October.
Those deals are not new. When I got my new iphone, I was looking for a 5g sim only deal but was shocked at having to take up 24 months to get a decent EE deal. There are 12 month sim only deals , but they’re not value for money to me.
sod the 24 months contract for sim only. (ofcom should banned this!) sim only should be 30 days or 12 months!
Contract phone pay monthly is always 24 months
It is in Vodafone, 5GB of data for £15/month is all I need. That’s why I’m not considering new EE sim only “offer” at all.
I’ve just joined EE for my broadband which is £21 pm. Am I entitled to get a tv or Nintendo switch
I’ve been with both O2 and EE None of them care about the customers.
Very sad but I found the same with EE
To good this sim i need where this sim
I bought a locked ee phone have now been waiting over a month to get it unlocked because I am not a ee customer I have to wait for the unlocking team to contact me phoned 4 times keep bon being promised someone will contact me directly do far nothing any body know of a good unlocking service phone is all good not blacklisted or anything like that. just rubbish really
Which phone? If it’s not an iPhone you can likely just get an unlock code elsewhere.
The cheapest and easiest way funnily enough is eBay. Search for “phone model ee unlock code”, you buy the item for a few quid and send the IMEI number of your phone in the comments box. They then email you the unlock code.
I’ve done it for a dozen or so phones. Thought I’d also point out it doesn’t matter where the code comes from, once you use it your phone can’t be re-locked (except iPhones which are different entirely)
Would be good to have an ISP review list for PAYG sim only, with low GB bundle and high GB bundle splitout
