UK ISP Virgin Media (VMO2) has today introduced a range of “Black Friday” discounts across their various ultrafast broadband-only packages, which now start at just £25 per month for a download speed of 108Mbps (average). Some of their other bundles with phone and TV have also been reduced, but not as much.
New customers can expect to receive an included wireless router, 18-month minimum contract term, unlimited usage, access to Virgin’s UK network of WiFi hotspots, internet security / parental controls and email.
We should add that each package also attracts a £35 one-off setup fee.

VMO2 broadband-only prices have been missing an inroductory discount for a few weeks now.
I assume this was so they could re-introduce them as a Balck Friday deal.
No thanks all rubbish price deals can’t beat threes 5g and before anyone says anything the 5g where I live is 380 meters away from my house I’m getting max 900 mpbs and minimum is 200 mpbs when it’s busy
I’m paying £14 for a unlimited data sim and use my own 5g router unlocked £400 tcl 5g cpe router
I wouldn’t touch virgin media with a bargepoll overpriced and greedy rip off
Still £62 for 1GB BB only with far below competition upload speed for such an equivalent tier.
Hardly a Black Friday “deal” 🙂
For most Virgin customers there is no competition at those speeds, hence the prices.
That will change as they are overbuilt with Openreach FTTP and 5G becomes more widely available.
Prices for standalone BB are a joke really, it’s worrying to think what the 2Gb tier is going to cost out of contract once released unless they reshuffle all the packages and price points.
one more time, in English this time ..
62 GBP for 1Gb broadband for black Friday ? some months back virgin were offering it for 52 GBP, which I signed up for as had moved from business to residential
