Mobile network operator O2 (VMO2) will later this morning be introducing some new offers on their Pay As You Go (PAYG) plans, which will see double data across all their ‘Big Bundle’ and selected ‘Rolling Plan’ tariffs for both new and existing customers. But this will only last for up to 3 months.
Data allowances across Big Bundle (£10, £15, £20, £30) and Rolling Plan (£10, £15, £20) tariffs will be doubled (e.g. £10 normally gets you 10GB, but this will now be 20GB etc.), except for the £30 Rolling Plan tariff. The £30 Rolling Plan tariff will be boosted from 150GB to 250GB of data, which will also revert to the standard data allowance thereafter.
As usual, their PAYG plans all include unlimited calls and texts. Some plans also include free international minutes to 42 countries. The new offers will be available to take until Wednesday 28th June 2023.

Not a bad idea considering that their data is woeful at the best of times!
Encouraging people to use more data on an already saturated network does not seem a great plan to me!
[SARCASM]Of course as you can’t get enough data throughput with the existing plans to use all of your monthly data, doubling the headline rate will make it look more attractive but have little real impact in data usage.[/SARCASM]
I assume the zero amount of data that comes with their £5 bundle will stay at zero?
0 x 2 = 0
Their Double data promotion is a BIG con i joined in December 2022 double data £10 20 Gig never got plus £10 Free credit had to phone customer support so many times they couldn’t give me the Extra data you have to Text a code but text messages didnt work They did give me £10 Free credit as a good will gesture never fixed the text isue so i left after 2 moths of terrible service no signal 1bar data speeds less than 0.5 mbps
Worst network there is, tried quite a few and nobody even gets close to how shocking O2 network is
