The Comms Council UK, which represents the United Kingdom’s national Unified Communications and Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) phone industry, has today revealed the winners of their 15th annual 2023 awards event.
Eli Katz, Chair of Comms Council UK Council, said: “It’s been another fantastic CCUK Awards ceremony, and the fact that we are now at our 15th edition demonstrates that our industry continues to be a vital part of UK telecommunications. It was great to see winners and a number of highly commended from a wide range of companies – the spirit of innovation and competition is clearly strong right across the sector. Well done also to our Hero of the Year Andy Rawnsley from Gamma for his long standing support to the industry in so many areas. Now the work begins to ensure that 2024’s entries are just as good!”
The winners, which are usually independently reviewed by several judges (at the time of writting we couldn’t find a list), were announced at a ceremony at the Tate Modern in London today. Sadly, there was no category for consumer VoIP / IP phone services, which is a little odd given the mass UK transition from analogue to digital based IP phone solutions.

SHOCKED. No win for Voipfone? I thought the whole point of them setting up this trade association up was so they could give themselves awards and accolades 🙂
