Three (3) Offers FREE Mobile Broadband (3G) Laptop

Posted: 09th Jan, 2008 By: MarkJ
Mobile phone operator Three (3) has teamed up with The Carphone Warehouse to offer 'Mobile Broadband' (3G) subscribers a "FREE" Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop with their £35 per month 3GB (GigaBytes) usage restricted package.

The package includes a FREE USB Adaptor for accessing the 3G based service and 200 included monthly text messages:

“The deal means customers are now fully equipped to access broadband through their new laptop – on the move – using 3’s Turbo network with average speeds of 2.8MB,” a 3 spokeswoman said quickly, while staying on the move.

While there’s no word on a minimum contract length yet, it’s likely to be the same as T-Mobile’s 24 month contract for that company’s £199 laptop/£20 mobile internet deal.

The AbsoluteGadget item notes a distinct lack of detail surrounding the offer, though we were able to locate some addition information for T-Mobile's promotion on Carphone's website here.
