Residents in the East Kilbride area of Lanarkshire (South-West of Scotland) have just three weeks left to register for a campaign that aims to broadband enable the remaining area.
The East Kilbride telephone exchange is already fully ADSL broadband enabled and some cable coverage also exists, yet many rural residents live just outside of their reach in '
broadband blackspots'.
Unfortunately the area has so far tried and failed to find a solution and this may be their last chance. People resident in these blackspots are being urged to submit an application to the following website or phone number before 18th January:

It's hoped that a solution can be found before the end of 2008.
