UK ISP
Ace Internet has sadly updated its website to confirm that they have been forced to cease trading. The provider had been in a very vocal dispute with its supplier, Entanet, over billing during August (
news history) and has found it hard to continue.
It's also understood that Ace's founder, Stephen Daniels, was declared bankrupt during June this year (
here). Meanwhile Ace's website currently displays the following notice:
We are sad to inform you that Ace Internet has now ceased trading.
Unfortunately due to increased competition and recent events, it is no longer viable for us to continue to provide services.
We would like to thank all our customers, both past and present, for your custom and support over the last 9 years.
Customers can obtain a broadband migration code (MAC) from Aces website or continue to be served their connection by Entanet.
