Virgin Media Billing Upgrade To Stall Signups

Virgin Media has issued a service status update informing customers in ex-NTL (not ex-Telewest) regions that the operators billing systems will be upgraded between 30th September and 6th October 2007.
This is important because it will prevent people in related areas from being able to.. "register new Broadband connections, upgrade packages or change any of your products or services while they are migrated to our improved billing systems."
Virgin recommends that customers wishing to make any package changes do so before the 30th September.
