UKFast Acquires Gio's ADSL Userbase

Troubled ISP Gio Internet, which recently stopped taking signups, has officially offloaded its ADSL customers onto rival UK Fast. Both the Gio Internet and Activeware brands (including any remaining unmetered dialup users) have also been acquired by an unnamed ISP.
In a message to customers, Gio writes:
We are writing to reassure you that you will NOT lose your broadband connection. UKFast.Net, one of our wholesale suppliers, has agreed to continue to provide your broadband directly to you, at no extra cost.
Your broadband account will be taken over by UKFast.Net immediately, and as nothing is actually changing, there will be no downtime.
All UKFast.Net simply need to know is how you prefer to pay - please email them on accounts@ukfast.net, or call 0800 781 7818.
Rest assured that neither the speed or price of your connection will change - you will receive the same level of performance and at the same price, with the added benefit of having a UK based support team.

After announcing the potential sale of the Gio Internet customers, Hauka (www.hauka.com) has come to an agreement with a Top 10 ISP to aquire 2 of it's most popular ISP's Gio Internet and Activeware.
Hauka's sale of its 2 top ISP's is its latest move to focus purely on its CRM development and International Call Centre operations which focuses on sales, customer service, support and BPO at low cost for business in the UK and USA/Canada.
Hauka's move has been strategic to its continued success and now ISP's in the UK have been given the opportunity by Hauka to have a fully trained sales and technical team of 500+ agents to support their business, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
With the UK ISP market becoming more cut-throat in terms of pricing, ISP's must look to reduce their expenditure to remain competitive. And as we all know one of the largest costs in any organisations is it's staff.
