For the past few days some customers of UK ISP
Bulldog (C&W) have been reporting performance problems, such as difficulty playing online games or accessing websites. The issues appear to centre on one of their London exchanges:
In a statement Bulldog confirmed what it described as a "performance issue" but insisted that only a handful of punters were hit by the problem.
The ISP said in a statement: "There has been a performance issue identified on one of our LLU metro nodes in London, which has affected the speeds received by a small proportion of our customers.
Currently we have 16 customer tickets open with speed-related issues. We have identified the cause of the performance issue on the metro node, and it will have been resolved by the end of today," it said.Initial reports suggest that performance is finally starting to creep back. More @
